Walking
From the center of Gori, start at the Gori Fortress, which is a prominent landmark. Head southeast on Gori Street towards the St. George's Church. Continue straight until you reach the main road (Rustaveli Avenue). Turn right on Rustaveli Avenue and walk until you reach the bus station. Here, you can catch a marshrutka (shared minibus) heading towards Rkoni. Board the marshrutka and pay the fare (usually around 1 GEL). The marshrutka will take you along the scenic route towards Rkoni. Disembark when the driver announces the stop for Rkon Monastery. From the stop, it’s about a 15-minute walk uphill to the bell tower. Follow the path signs leading to the monastery.

From Gori, make your way to the bus station located on Rustaveli Avenue. Look for marshrutkas heading towards Rkoni. Once you board, you will need to pay the driver (approximately 1 GEL).
