Walking
From the center of Gori, head south on Shota Rustaveli Avenue towards the Gori Fortress. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Uplistsikhe Complex Road, which is about a 30-minute walk. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Uplistsikhe Complex Road. Follow this road for approximately 10-15 minutes, and you will arrive at Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave town.
Public Transport
From Gori city center, head to the central bus station located near the Gori Fortress. Look for a minibus (marshrutka) heading to Kvakhvreli or Uplistsikhe. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kvakhvreli stop, get off and walk along Uplistsikhe Complex Road for about 10 minutes until you reach Uplistsikhe.
