Car
From Gudauri, drive towards the town of Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) on the Georgian Military Highway (E117). The drive will take about 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Kazbegi, continue on the main road until you see the signs for Gergeti. Turn left onto the road leading to Gergeti village. You can park your car at the base of the mountain near the village. The church is located approximately 3 kilometers up the mountain from there.

Public Transportation
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from the Gudauri bus station heading to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). The ride lasts about 30-40 minutes and costs around 5-10 GEL. Once you arrive in Stepantsminda, you can either walk to Gergeti (approximately 1 hour hike) or hire a local taxi to take you to the church. The taxi ride will cost around 20-30 GEL.
