Getting There

Car
From Gudauri, head southeast on the Jvari Pass Road (E117) towards Stepantsminda. The journey is approximately 30 km and takes about 40 minutes. Follow the signs for Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). After reaching Stepantsminda, continue driving towards the village of Gergeti. You can park your car in the designated parking area near the Gergeti Trinity Church, which is a popular starting point for hikes to Mount Kazbek. The parking fee is usually around 5 GEL.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Kazbek using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Gudauri to Stepantsminda. Marshrutkas leave from the main road in Gudauri and the fare is approximately 10 GEL.
