From the Lagodekhi National Park Visitor Center, the Black Grouse Waterfall trail is a 9.5km hike. Follow the marked path, which initially runs alongside the Shroma River. The trail is well-maintained but can be steep and narrow in sections, requiring sturdy footwear. There is no entrance fee to access the National Park.

To reach Lagodekhi National Park from Tbilisi, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Isani Metro Station to Lagodekhi town. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours and costs around 7 GEL. From the Lagodekhi bus station, it's a short taxi ride or a 20-minute walk to the park's visitor center, the starting point for the Black Grouse Waterfall trail. Taxis from the Lagodekhi bus station to the visitor center should cost around 5-10 GEL.
