If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Telavi, which is a central town in Kakheti. Head east on the Sh27 highway towards Lagodekhi. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the village of Chala. From Chala, take a small road leading towards the reservoir, which is about 5 km away.
