Car

If you're driving from Telavi, start on the main road (E117) heading southeast. Follow the signs towards Batonis Tsikhe (Batonistsikhe) for about 10 km. You'll see the fortress on your right side as you approach. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation

To reach Batonistsikhe using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Telavi to the main bus station. Marshrutkas run frequently, and the fare is around 1 GEL. Once at the station, take a taxi or a local bus that goes towards the fortress. The taxi fare should be about 5-10 GEL depending on your negotiation skills.

Walking

If you are nearby Telavi and prefer walking, you can hike from the city center to Batonistsikhe. It's roughly a 30-minute walk (around 2 km). Head south towards the fortress, following the signs. The path is scenic and offers views of the surrounding landscape.
