If you do not have a car, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). The marshrutka ride costs approximately 10 GEL and takes about 2-3 hours. From Stepantsminda, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a local guide to take you to Juta, which is about 30 minutes away and will cost around 30-50 GEL. Once in Juta, you can hike to Chaukhi Pass, which is approximately 10 km away. Make sure to wear proper hiking gear.
