From Freedom Square, take bus #90 or #124 towards Mtatsminda Park. The bus will take you close to the Funicular lower station. A single fare is 1 GEL and can be paid using a MetroMoney card, Travel Card, or a bank card. From there, it's a short walk to the funicular entrance.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Tbilisi. A taxi ride from Freedom Square to the Funicular lower station will cost approximately 5-10 GEL, depending on traffic and the taxi company. Agree on the fare with the driver beforehand or use a ride-hailing app like Bolt or Yandex Taxi.
Funicular
To ascend to Mtatsminda Park, purchase a Mtatsminda Park card for 2 GEL at the lower station. Load the card with credit to pay for the funicular ride, which costs 10 GEL one way. The funicular operates from 09:00 to 00:00 (midnight).
