Walking
Start at the Mtskheta town center, near the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. From the cathedral, head northwest on the main street (Mtskheta-Mtianeti) towards the bridge over the Aragvi River. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, continue straight on the road. After about 1.5 km, you will see signs for Jvari Monastery. Follow the signs leading up the hill. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. The monastery is located on a hilltop, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From the center of Mtskheta, walk to the minibus station located near the main square. Look for a minibus heading towards Jvari or the direction of the monastery. The fare is usually quite inexpensive, around 1 GEL. After about 10 minutes of travel, the minibus will drop you off at a stop close to Jvari Monastery. From the minibus stop, follow the signs uphill towards the monastery, which is about a 15-minute walk from there.
