Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the center of Mtskheta, head south on Shota Rustaveli Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Tsminda Sameba Street. Turn left onto Tsminda Sameba Street, and walk for another 300 meters. You will see the beautiful Svetitskhoveli Cathedral ahead on your right, just across the river.

From the Mtskheta Bus Station, walk towards the main road (Tsminda Sameba Street). Once you reach the intersection, turn left and follow the street for approximately 800 meters. As you approach the city center, the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral will be visible on your right side.

If you are near the Jvari Monastery, exit the monastery grounds and head back down the hill towards Mtskheta. Follow the main road and cross the bridge over the Aragvi River, which will lead you directly into the town. Continue straight onto Tsminda Sameba Street for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Svetitskhoveli Cathedral on your right.
