From the center of Mtskheta, head towards the main street, which is named after the famous Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Walk straight along this street until you reach the intersection with the Mtkvari River. Continue straight until you see the bridge that leads you over the river. Cross the bridge and follow the path until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Tbilisi Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Ioane Shavteli Street. Turn left onto Ioane Shavteli Street, and the Kari Church of St. George will be located on your right at number 6.

From Mtskheta, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) towards Tbilisi. Locate the marshrutka stop near the center of Mtskheta. Board the marshrutka that is heading to Tbilisi.
