Getting There

Walking

From the center of Mtskheta, head towards the main street, Shota Rustaveli Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Tbilisi-Mtskheta highway (also known as Highway 1). Turn left at the highway and continue walking towards Tbilisi. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a bus stop on your right. This is where you can catch a bus to Tbilisi.

Take bus number 37 from the Mtskheta bus stop towards Tbilisi. The bus will take you directly into Tbilisi. Once you arrive, get off at the 'Freedom Square' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 200 meters and you will reach Freedom Square, which is a central landmark in Tbilisi.
Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Mtskheta to Tbilisi. You can find taxis near the Mtskheta bus station. Inform the driver that you want to go to Freedom Square in Tbilisi. The drive should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
