Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Oni in Racha-Lechkhumi. Head southwest on the road towards Ambrolauri. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the village of Katskhi. The Katskhi Column is located just outside the village. Look for signs indicating 'Katskhi Column' as you approach the area. Parking is available near the base of the column.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Tbilisi to Ambrolauri. The marshrutka ride takes about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Ambrolauri, transfer to a local marshrutka heading to Oni. The ride will take about 30 minutes. After reaching Oni, find a local taxi or ask around for transportation to Katskhi, which is about 15 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 15-20 GEL for the taxi ride.

If you are already in Katskhi, the Katskhi Column is accessible by foot. From the village center, follow the dirt path that leads directly to the column. The walk takes about 15-20 minutes, and the path is well-marked. Be prepared for a moderate incline as you approach the column.
