Getting There

• Car

  From Stone Mountain, head northwest on Main St toward E Mountain St. Merge onto US-78 W/US-278 W. Continue on US-78 W for about 40 miles. Merge onto I-285 N and continue for 15 miles. Take exit 39 for US-441 N toward Gainesville. Continue on US-441 N for approximately 70 miles. Take the exit toward GA-75 N and merge onto GA-75 N. Follow GA-75 N for about 25 miles, then take a left onto GA-75 ALT N. Drive for another 15 miles until you reach Juta. The Juta-Chaukhi trail is located on Juta - Mountain Chaukhebi Rd. Look for the trailhead which is marked and accessible from the road. Note that road conditions may vary, so proceed with caution.

  From Stone Mountain, take the MARTA train to Five Points Station in downtown Atlanta. From there, transfer to a Greyhound bus or a similar intercity bus service heading toward Tbilisi, as Juta is not directly accessible by public transit.
