If you are driving from Mestia, take the road heading southeast towards the village of Juta. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on road conditions. Once in Juta, continue on the same road heading toward the Chaukhi Pass. The last stretch is a rough gravel road that leads to the foot of the pass, so be prepared for some off-road driving.
