Getting There

    From the center of Svaneti, head towards the town of Mestia. Follow the main road (E117) south until you reach the junction near the village of Zhabeshi. Turn left onto the road leading to the town of Zugdidi. Continue on this road for approximately 85 kilometers until you reach Poti. Once in Poti, follow the signs to Guria St. where Kolkheti's National Park is located at Guria St., 222. The drive should take around 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. There may be a toll on certain segments of the road, so keep some cash handy for that.

    From Mestia, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Zugdidi. The marshrutka will drop you off at the Zugdidi bus station. From there, transfer to another marshrutka or local bus that goes to Poti. Upon arriving in Poti, navigate to Guria St. by asking locals for directions or using a map application on your phone. Kolkheti's National Park is at Guria St., 222. The total travel time using public transportation is approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on wait times and connections. The cost for the marshrutka from Mestia to Zugdidi is around 15 GEL, and from Zugdidi to Poti, it will be approximately 5 GEL.
