Public Transport
From Tbilisi city center, head to the Didube Bus Station. You can take the Metro to Didube Station (Line 1, the red line). Once at Didube, look for the marshrutka (minibus) stand. You need to take a marshrutka heading to Rustavi. The marshrutka ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Rustavi Fortress, or simply ask them to drop you off at the main square in Rustavi. The fare is usually around 2-3 GEL.
