To reach Bazaleti Lake from Uplistsikhe by car, start by heading northwest on the main road (E117) from Uplistsikhe. Continue straight for approximately 11 kilometers until you reach the town of Mtskheta. At the roundabout in Mtskheta, take the second exit onto the E117 road towards Dusheti. Drive for another 20 kilometers until you see signs for Bazaleti Lake. Turn left onto the local road leading to the lake, which is clearly marked. The total drive should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Uplistsikhe, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to Mtskheta, which should cost around 1-2 GEL. Marshrutkas leave from the main bus station in Uplistsikhe. Once in Mtskheta, transfer to another marshrutka heading towards Dusheti. The fare for this leg of the journey will also be around 1-2 GEL. In Dusheti, you may need to take a taxi or local bus to reach Bazaleti Lake, which could cost around 5-15 GEL depending on the distance. The total travel time may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections.
