Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the main square in Mtskheta, known as the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral area. Head east on Erekle II Street until you reach the intersection with Aghmashenebeli Avenue. Turn right onto Aghmashenebeli Avenue and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the outskirts of Mtskheta. As you walk, you will pass several shops and cafes where you can stop for refreshments. Once you reach the edge of town, look for signs indicating the route to Chardakhi. Follow the signs, which will guide you through the countryside, and continue walking for about 3 kilometers. You will need to navigate some unpaved paths, so wear comfortable shoes. As you approach Chardakhi, you will see Iago's Vineyard on your right, just off the main path. The vineyard is located at WJ2Q+7F, Chardakhi.

    From the center of Mtskheta, walk to the bus station located near the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Look for a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Chardakhi. The fare is typically very affordable.
