From Vardzia, take the main road (E117) heading northwest towards Akhaltsikhe. After about 30 km, take the exit towards the local roads leading to the town of Akdarı. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you reach the village of Çıldır. Once in Çıldır, follow signs for İkiz mağaralar; it will be approximately 5 km from the village center. Note that parking may be limited near the caves, so be prepared to walk a short distance.
Public Transportation
From Vardzia, take a marshrutka (minibus) to Akhaltsikhe. These minibuses leave regularly from the main bus stop in Vardzia. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
