From Vardzia, head north on the E60 highway. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Kumurdo. Follow the signs to Kumurdo village. Once in the village, navigate to the address 99X3+3X7, which is the location of Kumurdo Cathedral. Parking is available nearby.

From Vardzia, take a local minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Aspindza. These minibuses usually leave from near the entrance of Vardzia. Inform the driver you want to get off at Kumurdo. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kumurdo, walk to the address 99X3+3X7 to find Kumurdo Cathedral. Be sure to check the schedule for return trips.
