Getting There

Car
From Vardzia, take the main road (E691) heading northwest towards Aspindza. Continue on this road for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach a fork. At the fork, take the right turn towards Kinchkhaperdi. Follow the signs directing you to the Okatse (Kinchkha) Big Waterfall. The road will lead you through scenic landscapes. After about 6 kilometers, you will arrive at the parking area near the waterfall. Note that there is a parking fee of around 5 GEL.

Public Transportation
From Vardzia, you can take a marshrutka (minibus) to the town of Aspindza. Marshrutkas depart regularly from Vardzia. Once you arrive in Aspindza, you need to catch another marshrutka heading towards Kinchkhaperdi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Okatse (Kinchkha) Big Waterfall, and they will drop you off at the appropriate stop. From where you are dropped off, it's about a 30-minute walk to the waterfall. Be prepared for a hike as the trail can be steep and rugged. The total cost for public transportation should be around 10-15 GEL.
