Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Vardzia. Head south on the main road (E117) towards the Vardzia Monastery. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you see signs for Vardzia Terraces. Turn left onto a smaller road (G7M6+CC7) that leads towards the terraces. The drive should take approximately 5 minutes, and parking is available near the terraces.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop in Vardzia. Look for mini-buses or marshrutkas heading towards the Vardzia Monastery. The fare is usually around 1 GEL. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Vardzia Terraces stop. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs to the terraces, which are a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Vardzia and head towards the Vardzia Monastery. The walk is scenic and takes about 30 minutes. Follow the main path leading south, and watch for signs directing you to the terraces. It’s a pleasant hike with beautiful views along the way.
