The Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum is accessible via bus lines 3, 13, 3A, 3B, 4, 13A, 13B and 36. From Aachen main station, bus lines 3, 13 will take you to the museum. Get off at the bus stop Augustastraße (Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum). A single bus fare within Aachen is approximately €3. Combination bus tickets with museum admission are available.

The Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum is located about a 15-minute walk from the center of the old town. From the Aachen Cathedral, walk southwest along Domhof, then turn right onto Hof. Continue onto Kockerellstraße, then turn left onto Wilhelmstraße. The museum will be on your right.

If driving, several parking garages are available near the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum. These include Contipark in Lothringerstraße 2-14, Kaiserplatz (Aquis Plaza), and APAG on Adalbertsteinweg 36. Parking rates typically start at €2 per hour, with daily maximums around €12. Note that Aachen has a low emission zone, requiring vehicles to have a green sticker. Park & Ride options are available outside the zone, with bus connections to the city center for €5 for up to five people.
