If you are traveling by car, start from your location in the Alps and navigate to the A7 autobahn. Follow the A7 southbound towards Füssen. Take exit 137-Füssen and merge onto B310 towards Schwangau. Continue on B310 until you reach the town of Schwangau. As you approach Schwangau, follow the signs for Hohenschwangau Castle. After entering the village, take Alpseestraße and drive until you reach the parking area at Alpseestraße 30, 87645 Schwangau. Parking fees may apply, so be prepared for costs ranging from €6 to €12 for a day’s parking.
