Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Altbayern, head towards Bodenmais. From the center of Bodenmais, drive southwest on the B11 road. Follow the signs towards 'Bodenmais' and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Lichtenfelser Strasse. Turn left onto Lichtenfelser Strasse and continue for about 1 km. The Älteste Vitriolhütte Bayerns will be on your right, located at the address 94264 Bodenmais. There is typically parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a regional train to the Bodenmais train station. From the station, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to reach Älteste Vitriolhütte Bayerns. If you choose the bus, look for the bus line that heads towards the center of Bodenmais. Once you arrive at the main stop, it's a short 15-minute walk to the Vitriolhütte. Head southwest on Bahnhofstraße, then turn left onto Lichtenfelser Strasse and walk for about 1 km until you see the Älteste Vitriolhütte on your right.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bodenmais and prefer to walk, start from the town center and head southwest on Bahnhofstraße. After approximately 500 meters, take a left onto Lichtenfelser Strasse. Continue walking straight for about 1 km, and you will find Älteste Vitriolhütte Bayerns on your right side. This is a pleasant walk with scenic views of the area.
