Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards Rostock. From the A19 autobahn, take the A20 towards Rostock. Once you reach the Rostock area, take the exit for Warnemünde (B103). Follow the signs for Warnemünde, which will lead you directly through the town. Park at one of the designated parking areas near the beach, and from there, it's a short walk to the lighthouse located at Am Leuchtturm, 18119 Rostock. Note that parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    To reach Warnemünde by train, take a regional train from any station in the Baltic Sea Coast area heading to Rostock Hauptbahnhof. Upon arrival at Rostock Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the S-Bahn (S1) heading to Warnemünde. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Warnemünde station, it's a 15-minute walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs towards the beach, and then head west along the waterfront to reach the lighthouse at Am Leuchtturm.
