Getting There

From Bodenmais, take Arberhochstraße (B85) heading northeast. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you to Riesloch-Wasserfälle. You will find a parking area near the trailhead, which may incur a parking fee of around €4 for the day.

  For those using public transportation, take a train to the Bodenmais station. Upon arrival, you can catch a local bus heading towards Arberhochstraße. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to Riesloch-Wasserfälle, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.   If you are already in the vicinity of Bodenmais and prefer to walk, you can reach Riesloch-Wasserfälle via a scenic hiking trail starting from the center of Bodenmais. The hike is approximately 5 kilometers and will take around 1.5 hours. Follow the marked hiking paths towards the waterfall, ensuring to carry sufficient water and wear appropriate footwear for this moderate trek.
