From the Brandenburg Gate, walk along Straße des 17. Juni through the Tiergarten. Continue past the Victory Column (Siegessäule). Bellevue Palace will be on your right, a walk of approximately 25-30 minutes. This is a scenic and direct route through the park.

Completed in 1786, the palace was originally commissioned by Prince August Ferdinand of Prussia, the youngest brother of Frederick the Great. Designed by architect Michael Philipp Boumann, the palace was the first Neoclassical building in Germany.Over the centuries, Bellevue Palace has served many purposes, including a royal guest house, a museum, and a guest house for the Nazi government. Severely damaged during World War II, it was rebuilt in the 1950s and has been the official residence of the German President since 1994.Today, Bellevue Palace hosts state visits, official receptions, and other important events. While the palace interiors are generally not open to the public, visitors can explore the surrounding 20-hectare park, admire the palace's elegant facade, and soak in the serene atmosphere. The palace's location on the River Spree offers picturesque views, adding to its charm.
