Getting There

U-Bahn (Subway)
If you are near a U-Bahn station, take the U6 line towards Alt-Tegel or the U2 line towards Pankow. If you're on the U6, get off at Friedrichstraße station. If you're on the U2, get off at Stadtmitte station. From Friedrichstraße, walk south on Friedrichstraße until you reach the intersection with Unter den Linden. Turn right onto Unter den Linden and continue straight. Gendarmenmarkt will be on your left after about a 10-minute walk. From Stadtmitte, exit the station and walk north on Friedrichstraße, then turn left onto Gendarmenmarkt directly.

Board any S-Bahn train that stops at Friedrichstraße station, such as S3, S5, S7, or S9. Once you arrive at Friedrichstraße, exit the station and follow the same directions as from the U-Bahn: walk south on Friedrichstraße, turn right onto Unter den Linden, and continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Gendarmenmarkt on the left.
