Created by artist Yadegar Asisi, this 360° panorama depicts a fictitious autumn day in Kreuzberg, West Berlin, right next to the Berlin Wall. From a 4-meter-high platform, visitors can observe the detailed scenes of everyday life. The panorama showcases dilapidated buildings, punks, tourists, and border guards, offering a realistic view of how normal and cruel life was in the Wall's shadow. The installation is accompanied by an emotive soundscape of music, street noise, and soundbites from pivotal moments in the Wall's history, such as JFK's iconic “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech.
