From Bonn Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S-Bahn S12 or S19 towards Köln. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Alight at Köln Messe/Deutz station. From there, transfer to tram line 18 towards Bonn Bad Godesberg and get off at the stop 'Zoo/Flora'. The Cologne Zoological Garden is a short walk from the tram stop.

You can take bus line 610 from Bonn, situated at the central bus station (ZOB), towards Köln. After about 45 minutes, get off at the 'Zoo' stop. The entrance to the Cologne Zoological Garden is just a short walk from the bus stop.
