From Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn S12, S13, or S19 towards Köln. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the street called 'Bischofsgartenstraße'. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with 'Willy-Brandt-Platz'. Turn left onto 'Willy-Brandt-Platz' which will lead you to 'Eifelwall'. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you see the Historical Archive of the City of Cologne at Eifelwall 5 on your right.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Bonn. Head towards the Rhine River and follow the river north towards Cologne. The bike ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. As you approach Cologne, continue to follow the signs towards the city center, and once you reach the area of 'Eifelwall', look for Eifelwall 5, where the Historical Archive is located.
Walking

If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from Bonn Central Station and head north along 'Willy-Brandt-Allee'. Continue walking straight for about 5 kilometers, following the signs towards Köln. Once you reach the city limits, head towards the center of Cologne.
