Train
From Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), take the RE1 or S11 train towards Düsseldorf. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Düsseldorf Central Station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and follow the signs to the 'U-Bahn' (subway) station.
U-Bahn
At Düsseldorf Central Station, take the U-Bahn line U78 or U79 towards 'Duisburg' or 'Krefeld' respectively. Travel for just one stop to 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' station. Once you arrive at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee', follow the signs to exit the station.
Walking
After exiting the U-Bahn at Heinrich-Heine-Allee, head towards the direction of the Rhine River (Rhein). Walk straight down 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' for about 500 meters until you reach 'Burgplatz'. This area is easily recognizable with its beautiful views of the Rhine and the historical buildings. Burgplatz is at Burgpl. 2, 40213 Düsseldorf.
Bus
Alternatively, from Düsseldorf Central Station, you can take bus line 732 or 729 towards 'Burgplatz'. The bus will take you directly to Burgplatz, which is a short journey of about 10 minutes. Ensure you get off at the 'Burgplatz' stop.
