From Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), take the RE or IC train towards Düsseldorf. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at Düsseldorf Central Station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof). Upon arrival, follow the signs to the exit and head towards the bus/tram station.

At Düsseldorf Central Station, take Tram Line 701 or 709 towards 'Düsseldorf, Benrath' or 'Düsseldorf, Neuss' respectively. Get off at the stop 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen. Head southwest on Heinrich-Heine-Allee, then turn left on Grabbeplatz, and you'll find the museum at Grabbepl. 5.

From Düsseldorf Central Station, take Bus Line 782 towards 'Köln, Bockum'. Get off at the stop 'Königsallee'. From there, you can either walk for about 15 minutes or take Tram Line 701 from the nearby tram stop 'Königsallee' towards 'Düsseldorf, Benrath'. Get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee', then walk to Grabbeplatz.

If you prefer to walk from Düsseldorf Central Station, exit the station and head southwest on Worringer Strasse. Continue straight until you reach Grabbeplatz. The museum will be on your right at Grabbepl. 5. The walk takes approximately 20-25 minutes.
