Train
From Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), take the RE or S-Bahn trains heading towards Düsseldorf. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Düsseldorf Central Station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main exit.
Public Transport (Tram/Bus)
After exiting Düsseldorf Central Station, you can take Tram Line 701 towards 'Neuss' or Bus Line 782 towards 'Flingern'. Get off at the 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' stop. From there, walk towards the Marktplatz, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the street signs pointing to 'Altstadt' (Old Town) and you will reach the Town Hall at Marktpl. 2.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at Burgplatz and head northwest towards the Altstadt. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer along the Rhine river until you reach the Marktplatz. The Town Hall will be on your right at Marktpl. 2.
