Train
Start your journey at Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Dresden Main Station). From the main hall, follow the signs to the S-Bahn trains. Take the S1 line towards 'Bad Schandau' or 'Schöna'. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Bad Schandau station, exit the train and follow the signs toward 'Stadt Bad Schandau' (City of Bad Schandau), which will lead you to the town center.

After exiting Bad Schandau station, turn left onto Kirnitzschtalstraße and follow it for about 600 meters. You will pass a few cafes and shops. Continue straight until you reach the Elbe River. At the river, turn right and walk along the path for about 400 meters until you see the sign for 'Saxon Switzerland - National Park Service' at An d. Elbe 4.
