Getting There

Train
From Düsseldorf Central Station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof), take the RE or IC train towards Köln (Cologne). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Köln Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the exit, and you will find yourself at the west side of the station. The Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) is directly adjacent to the station, just a short walk.

You can take Bus 721 from Düsseldorf Central Station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof) towards Düsseldorf Flingern. Get off at 'Düsseldorf, Worringer Platz' and transfer to Bus 780 towards Köln. This will take you to Köln. After arriving at your stop, walk towards the city center, and follow the signs to the Cologne Cathedral, which is visible from several points in the city.
