Car
From Eagle's Nest, drive south on the B305 towards Schönau am Königssee. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach a large parking area near the boat dock. Park your car there, as parking close to Eiskapelle is not available. The parking fee is around €5 per day. After parking, walk towards the Königssee lake and take the ferry to the Salet landing. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately €11 for a round trip. Once you reach Salet, follow the marked hiking trail towards Eiskapelle. The hike is about 1 hour and is moderately challenging, leading you through beautiful Alpine scenery.

From Eagle's Nest, take a bus to Berchtesgaden. The bus stop is located near the cable car station in Eagle's Nest. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once in Berchtesgaden, transfer to a bus that heads to Schönau am Königssee. This leg of the trip will take around 30 minutes. After arriving at the Schönau bus station, walk to the nearby ferry dock. Purchase a ferry ticket to Salet, which costs around €11 for a round trip. After disembarking at Salet, follow the well-marked trail to Eiskapelle, which takes about 1 hour.
