When you reach Schönau am Königssee, look for signs to the parking area near the Schrainbach Wasserfall. There may be a small parking fee (around €2-€4) depending on the location you choose to park. After parking, follow the marked hiking trail leading to the waterfall.

From Eagle's Nest, take a local bus to Schönau am Königssee. You will need to catch bus number 841 or 842. The journey takes about 35-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Schönau am Königssee bus stop, follow the signs towards Schrainbach Wasserfall. The waterfall is located about 2 km from the bus stop, and you will need to hike along a well-marked path. Wear comfortable shoes as the trail can be uneven.
