Train
From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a regional train (RE or RB) towards Aschaffenburg. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Aschaffenburg Hbf (main station). Once you arrive at Aschaffenburg Hbf, exit the station and turn left onto Bahnhofstraße. Follow this street until it becomes Stiftsstraße. Continue straight until you reach the Schloßplatz, where Johannisburg Palace is located. The palace will be directly in front of you.

From Frankfurt, you can also take the bus line 63 from Frankfurt central bus station (ZOB) towards Aschaffenburg. The trip takes about 1 hour. Get off at the stop 'Schloßplatz' in Aschaffenburg. Johannisburg Palace is right next to the bus stop, and you will see it immediately upon disembarking.

If you are already in the Innenstadt (city center) area of Aschaffenburg, you can easily walk to Johannisburg Palace. Look for Schloßplatz which is located in the center of the city. From the city center, simply follow the signs directing you to the palace. It should take around 10-15 minutes of walking.
