Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Westend, you can easily reach Zoo Frankfurt by walking. Start by heading east on Bockenheimer Landstraße towards Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Senckenberganlage. Turn left onto Senckenberganlage and keep walking. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee. Turn right onto Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee, and the entrance to Zoo Frankfurt will be on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and should take about 20 minutes.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    For a quicker option, you can take the tram. From Westend, head to the nearest tram station, which is 'Westendstraße'. Board the tram line 16 (in the direction of 'Bockenheimer Warte'). Get off at 'Zoo' station after 3 stops. From the tram stop, walk a short distance (about 5 minutes) to the main entrance of Zoo Frankfurt, which is located at Bernhard-Grzimek-Allee 1. The tram ticket costs approximately €2.75 for a single journey.
