Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head east on Bismarckallee. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and follow this pedestrian street, which is lined with shops and cafes, for about 10 minutes. You will pass the large square called Rathausplatz on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach Augustiner-Platz, which will be on your left just after the intersection with Augustinerstraße.

  • Tram

    From the Freiburg Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 (direction: Littenweiler) or tram line 3 (direction: Vauban). Get off at the stop called 'Rathaus.' After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead to reach Rathausplatz. From there, turn left onto Augustinerstraße. Augustiner-Platz will be just a short walk ahead on your left.
