From Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 2 towards 'Zähringen'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Zähringer Str.' Take a short walk to the bus stop 'Zähringer Str. / Schwimmbad', where you will catch bus line 21 towards 'Freiburg-Lehen'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Roßkopfturm'. Friedrichsturm is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs directing you to the observation tower.

If you are located in the city center, start at the Freiburg Cathedral (Freiburger Münster). Head southeast towards the intersection of Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and Schusterstraße. Turn onto Schusterstraße and walk straight until you reach the tram station 'Freiburg Stadtgarten'. From here, take tram line 2 to 'Zähringer Str.' Follow the previous bus instructions from this stop to reach Friedrichsturm.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services in Freiburg. From the city center, head east on the Radweg (bike path) towards 'Zähringen'. Continue along the bike path until you reach the area of 'Roßkopfturm'. There are bike paths leading directly to the tower, and it should take around 30 minutes of leisurely biking.
