Walking
From Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the tram stop outside the station. Take tram line 3 towards 'Littenweiler'. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Freiburg, Europaplatz' stop. From there, continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach 'Bertoldstraße'. Follow 'Bertoldstraße' until you see 'Schwarzwaldstraße' on your left. Turn left and continue walking until you reach 'Schwarzwaldstraße 1'. From there, turn right and walk straight for another 5 minutes until you reach 'Kaiserstraße'. Turn left and walk until you reach 'Münsterplatz', where you can enjoy the beautiful cathedral. After visiting the cathedral, head towards 'Rue des Marchands', which is just a short walk away. You will find 'Maison Schongauer' at 36 Rue des Marchands.
Tram
Starting from the center of Freiburg, make your way to the nearest tram stop, 'Bertoldsbrunnen'. Take tram line 1 towards 'Littenweiler'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Freiburg, Europaplatz'. From there, follow the walking directions mentioned above to reach 'Maison Schongauer'.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops near Freiburg's center. Start your ride by heading east on 'Bertoldstraße' and continue straight until you reach the 'Dreisam' river. Follow the bike path along the river, and then make your way towards the main road leading to Colmar. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to ride to Colmar. Upon entering Colmar, look for signs directing you to the city center. 'Maison Schongauer' is located at 36 Rue des Marchands, which is a well-known area in Colmar.
