If you are staying in the city center, you can easily walk to Münsterplatz. From the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head south on Bismarckallee. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße and walk straight for about 800 meters. You will reach a large plaza; this is the Münsterplatz. The market is located here, right in front of the Freiburg Minster.

From any point in Freiburg, you can take a tram to get to Münsterplatz. Board a tram on line 1, 2, or 3 at the nearest tram stop. If boarding tram line 1, get off at the station 'Freiburg, Stadthalle.' If boarding tram line 2 or 3, get off at 'Freiburg, Theater.' From either stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to Münsterplatz. Head towards the Minster, which is visible from both stops, and you’ll arrive at the bustling market.
