Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Hannover's central train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south on Ernst-August-Platz. Continue straight onto Bahnhofstraße, which will lead you to Kröpcke Square, a bustling area with shops and cafes. From Kröpcke, take the exit towards Georgstraße and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. At the intersection, turn right onto Ballhofstraße, and then take a left onto the main road, which is called Bäckerstraße. Follow this road until you reach Maschstraße. Turn left onto Maschstraße, and you will see the beautiful Maschsee Lake ahead.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Hannover's central train station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus line 100 or 200 from the bus stop located just outside the station. The buses are frequent, and you can check the schedule on the electronic boards. Get off at 'Maschsee' stop. After exiting the bus, you will find yourself right by the lake. Simply follow the path along the waterfront to enjoy the scenic views.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations around Hannover. Starting from Hauptbahnhof, head south on Ernst-August-Platz, then follow the cycle path along Bahnhofstraße. Continue to Kröpcke Square and turn left onto Georgstraße. Follow the designated bike lanes towards Maschstraße. Once you reach the Maschsee, there are numerous bike paths around the lake, allowing you to explore the area freely.
