If you are in the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, which is usually 'Kröpcke' or 'Hauptbahnhof'. From 'Kröpcke', take tram line 10 (direction 'Ahlem') or tram line 17 (direction 'Linden/Fischerhof'). Get off at the 'Willy-Brandt-Allee' stop. The Landesmuseum Hannover is just a short walk from the tram stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead on Willy-Brandt-Allee, and you will see the museum on your left.

If you are near the Maschsee, you can walk to the Landesmuseum Hannover. Start from the north side of the lake, head north towards the 'Willy-Brandt-Allee'. Turn right on Willy-Brandt-Allee and walk straight for about 15 minutes. The museum will be on your right side. Look for the large sign indicating Landesmuseum Hannover.
