From central Harz locations such as Wernigerode or Goslar, take the B6 road towards Ilsenburg. Once you reach Ilsenburg, follow the signs for Eckertalsperre. Turn onto Unnamed Rd, where the dam is located. There is parking available near the dam, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
Take a train from major cities in the Harz region, such as Wernigerode or Goslar, to Ilsenburg. From the Ilsenburg train station, you can take a local bus (line 270) heading towards Eckertalsperre.
